Biography
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University, a Hans J. Morgenthau Fellow at the Notre Dame International Security Center and the 2025-26 Stephanie G. Neuman Fellow in Comparative Defense Studies at the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies.
Substantively, I study the interplay of norms, international laws, identity and strategy in conflict and peace time. My current dissertation project attempts to explain the variation in the destruction and protection of cultural sites in conflict.
Prior to my Ph.D., I was a Fellow in Nonprofit Law at the Ford Foundation and an Arthur Helton Global Human Rights Fellow.
I graduated magna cum laude with my JD from NYU Law in 2020 and received my Bachelors in Political Science and English summa cum laude from Macalester College in 2017.
